Prawn Wontons by Claringbolds Seafood at Prahran Market

Prawn Wontons yummy!

Ingredients:

  • 250g fresh prawns, peeled and chopped

  • 100 mushrooms, finely chopped

  • Fresh coriander, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • Wonton wrappers

  • Water for sealing wontons

  • Oil for frying or steaming


Method:

  1. Mix chopped prawns, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.

  2. Place a spoonful of mixture onto a wonton wrapper.

  3. Wet the edges and twist the top of the wrapper shut.

  4. Fry in hot oil until golden brown or steam for 5-7 minutes.

  5. Serve hot with a dipping sauce or some simple soy sauce
